I grew up spending every summer in the mountains of Kazakhstan — long before I understood what mountaineering was, the mountains already felt like home. My first real mountain trip came at thirteen, and I haven't really stopped since. Over the years that passion has expanded into everything the vertical world has to offer: rock climbing, alpinism, ice climbing, ski touring, and month-long expeditions to 7,000m peaks across Central Asia.
I've climbed technical routes in the Tian Shan and Pamir in both summer and winter, stood on the summits of Ecuador's volcanoes, and worked the walls of the Alps. Now I'm based in Norway — one of the world's great climbing destinations — where the granite meets the fjords and the season never really ends.
I founded Toptur because I believe mountain experiences should be more than a transaction between instructor and client. My goal is to share knowledge, build real skills, and grow a community of people who love the mountains the way I do. Every trip is an adventure — and every adventure should feel both safe and genuinely wild.

The mountains are wild by nature — but that doesn't mean your experience has to be uncomfortable or uncertain. I believe the best mountain days are those where you push your limits, learn something real, and come home safely. Every decision in the field starts with keeping you safe, and ends with making sure it was worth it.
