It depends on the tour. Some tours are designed for complete beginners — no prior climbing experience needed, just good fitness and a willingness to learn. Others require solid trad climbing or high-altitude experience. Each tour page lists the specific requirements clearly. If you’re unsure, get in touch and we’ll figure out what’s right for you.

The guide fee and shared technical gear (ropes, protection, belay devices) are always included. Accommodation, food, and personal gear are generally not included — each tour page has a clear breakdown of what’s included and what’s not. For expeditions, local partner guides and in-country transport are included in the price.

Yes — almost everything is flexible. Duration, objectives, difficulty level, and group size can all be adjusted. If you have a specific route or region in mind that isn’t listed, get in touch and we’ll discuss what’s possible. Private tours are also available for those who prefer to go with their own group.

Start by sending a message via the contact form, WhatsApp, or Telegram. We’ll discuss your objectives, dates, and experience level. Once we agree on the details, I’ll send you a booking confirmation and payment information. A deposit is required to secure your dates, with the balance due closer to the trip.

Travel insurance with mountain rescue and helicopter evacuation coverage is mandatory for all tours. For expeditions to Central Asia or Russia, make sure your policy explicitly covers high-altitude mountaineering and evacuation by helicopter. I can recommend suitable policies if needed — just ask.

Mountain weather is unpredictable — that’s part of the game. We build flexibility into every itinerary to allow for weather days. If conditions are unsafe, we adapt the plan: choose a different objective, wait for a weather window, or use the day for skills training. Safety always comes first, but the goal is always to make the most of the time we have.

Each tour page lists the meeting point and nearest airport. Getting there is your responsibility, but I’m happy to help with logistics advice — recommended flights, transport options, and whether it makes sense to arrive a day early. For remote destinations like Central Asia, I can connect you with local contacts for airport transfers and accommodation.
