Who we are

Toptur is operated by Danil Nemushchenko, an individual guide based in Norway. You can contact me at hello@toptur.me.

What data we collect

When you use the contact form on this website, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Any other information you voluntarily include in your message (tour interest, preferred dates, experience level)

We do not use cookies for tracking or analytics. We do not collect data through any other means unless you contact us directly via email, WhatsApp, or Telegram.

Why we collect it

The information you submit through the contact form is used solely to respond to your inquiry and, if you book a tour, to manage your booking. The legal basis for processing this data is legitimate interest — specifically, responding to a request you have initiated.

We do not use your data for marketing, and we do not send newsletters or promotional emails without your explicit consent.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not result in a booking are deleted after 12 months. Booking-related communications are kept for 5 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

Who we share it with

Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Contact form submissions are processed through Netlify (our hosting provider), which stores submissions in accordance with their own privacy policy.

If your tour involves local partners in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, or other countries, we may share your name and basic contact information with those partners solely for logistical coordination.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (the "right to be forgotten")
• Object to processing of your data
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

If you believe your data has been handled incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.no.

WhatsApp and Telegram

If you contact us via WhatsApp or Telegram, your messages are subject to the privacy policies of those platforms. We use WhatsApp and Telegram only to communicate with you directly — we do not add you to any groups or broadcast lists without consent.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
